Never Summer Senders

We are Grand County’s Youth Climbing Team. The team is open to all abilities. We work on building technique, endurance, and strength. Kids will walk away from each practice with a better understanding of specific skills with an emphasis on fun and safety.

Spring 2025 practices start Thursday May 1st – June 5 from 5-6pm at the Granby Bouldering wall. Please follow the link to sign up. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E44AAAF2EA4F49-56026203-never

Our Values:

Support your teammates – Learning and trying hard means we fail often. If we are going to fail it is easier to fail in a supportive environment.  Your teammates are here to pick you back up after you fail.

Learn from others – When you are climbing is not the only time you can learn something.  Watching other climbers is a great way to learn.  Look at others as people you are LEARNING WITH versus people you are competing against.

Welcome the challenge – When you see something that seems difficult get excited about it.  Give it a try to see what happens.

Be a better climber than you were yesterday – Not every minute of practice is programmed.  Often there is time for you to work on anything you think will make you a better climber.  Focus on improving your areas of weakness.
